It's 11:40pm and I'm wide awake, it could be because of the health issues or may be I am sleeping too much these days. Anyways just to begin, I was thinking that "Opposites attract and similar repels" is just a law given by Mr. Newton or it could also be applicable on the nature of the different people? For instance, Can a person who has watched all seasons of "Game of thrones" live happily with a person who hardly know what exactly "Game of Thrones" is all about? Or a person who has read the complete series of novels written by "Patricia Cornwell" can even think of living with a person who hasn't even read his course books during Exams?
Of course, we want someone to share a common laughter, be a best friend and someone who'll not only listen to our doubts and celebrate our triumphs but also get inside the car for different gateways. Compatibility isn't something you have but something you make, and a willingness to work things out. Agree?
I have heard people saying "we are incompatible", that usually means, "We don't get along very well". Does the compatibility lies within the factors like common interests, and moods? Can you really get along with someone who challenges you for every single bit? Mostly the two people living together disagree about the common things: money, travel, time, food, etc. Does that mean the only way to sort things out is to mind your ways or is it about how you manage the differences?
A study says, couples who are too similar to each other, both physically and in personality, are less likely to have a long lasting relationship than those with some difference between them.
Do you agree with the same?
